With over 15 years’ training experience in adult education in Germany, I have conducted group and private training courses in various industries – (banking and finance, insurance, manufacturing, technology and recruiting). Having lived, studied and worked in Germany for over 20 years, I have gained the first-hand knowledge of, and compassion for, the challenges encountered when learning a foreign language. I was learning German but, the idea that learning a new language should be fun soon wore off. My problem was how to retain the new language rules and extensive vocabulary, how to recall the knowledge I needed when speaking and writing, and how to relay the information in the appropriate tone, speed and intonation. I learnt to be patient and to live by my true values in order to enjoy the process. I offer now what I had discovered during my language journey.
